CONDITIONS OF RENTAL 01/06/2021

Deposits and Payments;

Daily Hire: Payment by Credit Card or Debit Card (Visa/MasterCard with raised numbers; NO ELECTRON OR AMEX or any PrePaid cards i.e VirginMoney/MetroBank etc)

Before commencement of rental, a Card swipe of £500 (Daily Rental), £600 (Ages 23-24), £1000 (All European Hire) is required to cover all anticipated charges including VAT @ 20%, and a Security Deposit to cover the appropriate excess and fuel, which is refundable provided the vehicle is returned on time and in good condition. We DO NOT take cash or cheques for a deposit.

NO CARD, NO VAN!

LICENCE RULES:
•New Style - Photocard must be presented prior to hire, with either the new DVLA code or your National Insurance number to verify points/bans on your licence.
Minor points (6 max) are OK, but no DD or DR: 


•Old style licences are still acceptable but must be accompanied by photo ID (such as a passport) and a 2nd proof of drivers home address (i.e. bank statement or utility bill within the last 4 weeks).

Long-Term Hire: Details on request. (Payment facilities available)

*Half Day hire: Available Mon to Thurs only; 9:00am to 1pm, or 1pm to 5pm.

2021 Business Hours;

Monday to Friday: 9am to 5pm (Lunch 1pm to 2pm);

Saturday & Sunday - CLOSED 
("Out Of Hours" drop off facility available, but vehicle still remains on hire to yourself until the start of the next working day when we are able to check it back in)

Hire Duration;

DAILY rate, 24hrs; from either 9am to 9am (except Sun), or 4:30pm to 4:30pm the following day;

WEEKEND rate; From 5pm Friday to 9am Monday (ask about our discounted weekend rates); 

Mileage Allowance:
VANS: 150 miles per day free, 200 miles w/end, 750 miles per week;
MINIBUSES: 200km per day, 350km w/end, 1000km per week;

Excess charged @ 10p +VAT per mile/km over.

Diesel shortage: will be charged @ £2.50 per litre;

Prices include:

New, Clean Vehicles,

Any Additional Drivers (25+) can be added at £8.00 +VAT per driver. 

We can accept younger drivers (23 and 24 years old - Except Luton Vans), which will be subject to an extra charge of £10.00 +VAT per day, provided their Licence has NO points/convictions and they have at least 24 months driving experience, but a £1000 excess will apply in an event of an accident.

European Insurance claims are subject to a £1000 excess per claim;

Diesel is NOT included in rental price. Licence restrictions DO apply. E&OE

Extension of Rental Period; 

Should you wish to extend the hire beyond the agreed period, you must notify the rental office in advance and pay for the additional charges incurred. Failure to pay these charges may result in lapsed Insurance cover, which may render you liable for prosecution.

LONDON Congestion Charge, M25 Dart-Tag, parking tickets or any other penalty charge notices are the responsibility of the hirer at all times;

All our vehicles are NO SMOKING BY LAW (£150 fine minimum), and we DO NOT allow ANIMALS to travel at any time.

A minimum valet charge of £200 WILL be levied for any vehicles returned in an unacceptable or un-rentable condition.

Vehicle Damage;

Should a vehicle return with any new damage, the deposit will be held until an estimate and repair time schedule has been obtained. The managers decision is final. If vehicle is unroadworthy, it remains on hire and chargeable until repairs are completed. The hirer remains fully responsible for negligent or wilful damage (e.g. roof damage, vandalism, kerbed wheels or tyres, damage to the interior or ply lining, radio theft, cigarette burns, any damage to mirrors and glass, or the theft or loss of tools / accessories / spare wheels.)
