Deposits and Payments; Daily Hire: Payment by Credit Card or Debit Card (Visa/MasterCard/Maestro/Solo; NOT ELECTRON OR AMEX) Before commencement of rental, a Card swipe is required to cover all anticipated charges including new VAT rate @ 17.5%, and a Security Deposit to cover the appropriate excess and fuel which is refundable provided the vehicle is returned on time and in good condition. We do NOT take cash as a Deposit. We also need to see BOTH parts of your full UK licence, and a 2nd proof of address; i.e Bank Statement or Utility Bill. Long-Term Hire: Details on request. (Payment facilities available) *Half Day hire: Available Mon to Thurs only; 9am to 1pm, or 1pm to 5pm. 2010 Business Hours; Monday to Thursday: 8.30am till 5.30pm (Lunch 1pm to 2pm); Friday: 8.30am to 6pm (Lunch 1pm to 3pm); Saturday: 8.30 to 10am, and then 4.30 to 5.30pm; Sunday: CLOSED ("Out Of Hours" drop off facility available*) Hire Duration; DAILY rate, 24hrs; from either 8.30am to 8.30am, or 5pm to 5pm the following day; WEEKEND rate; From 5.30pm Friday to 8.30am Monday; Mileage Allowance: VANS: 150 per day free, 750 per week; LORRIES: 200 kms a day, 1000 kms a week (9p a mile/km over) Diesel shortage: will be charged @ £2.00 per litre; RENTAL PRICES AVAILABLE ON REQUEST. We can accept young driver's between 21 and 25, which maybe subject to a charge, as long as their Licence is clean and they have over 24 months driving experience, but a higher excess will apply in an event of an accident. C.D.W can be added at £8.00 per day (Lowers Insurance Excess Payment; 25yrs+). Diesel is not included in Rental price. Licence restrictions may apply. E&OE Extension of Rental Period; Should you wish to extend the hire beyond the agreed period, you must notify the rental office in advance and pay for the additional charges incurred. Failure to pay these charges may result in lapsed Insurance cover, which may render you liable for prosecution. LONDON Congestion Charge, or 7.5t LEZ Charge is the responsibility of the Hirer at all times; All our Vehicles are NON SMOKING BY LAW (£150 fine), and we DO NOT allow ANIMALS to travel at any time. A minimum Valet charge of £200.00 WILL be levied for vehicles returned in an unacceptable condition. Vehicle Damage; Should a vehicle return with new damage, the deposit will be held until an estimate and repair time schedule has been obtained. If vehicle is unroadworthy it remains on hire and chargeable until repairs are completed. The hirer remains responsible for negligent or wilful damage (e.g. kerbed wheels or tyres, damage to the interior, radio theft, cigarette burns, any damage to mirrors and glass, or the theft or loss of tools / accessories.)
